Baked Apple Butter Brown Sugar Wings

Baked Apple Butter Brown Sugar Wings

These zesty wings get their flavor from a variety of spices and a savory-sweet glaze made with Musselman’s® Apple Butter. A Sriracha dipping sauce gives them an extra kick.

Servings: 3 wings, makes 24 servings

4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
6 Tbsp. light brown sugar, divided
2 tsp. garlic powder
2 tsp. onion powder
2 tsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. smoked paprika
as needed Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
6 lb. chicken wings
4 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
as needed non-stick baking spray

Dipping Sauce

2 cups sour cream
2 Tbsp. Sriracha (Thai hot sauce)

  4. Place wings onto sheet pan; baste top of wings with half of apple butter glaze.  Bake for about 13–15 minutes.
  5. Turn wings; baste again with glaze. Bake for another 12–14 minutes or until chicken is cooked through. Serve immediately, accompanied with dipping sauce.
