Fruit Cobbler


Servings: 3/4 cup fruit and topping

1 #10 can LUCKY LEAF® Apple, Peach, Blueberry, Strawberry or Cherry Fruit Filling


Topping Variations
4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, melted

Oatmeal Crumb
4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups oatmeal
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, melted


  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Streusel Topping: In a bowl, combine flour, sugars, cinnamon and mix well. Add butter and rub the mixture into coarse crumbs (hands work best).
  3. Lightly grease a full-size hotel pan (12 x 24 inches) and place fruit topping on the base in an even layer.
  4. Scatter the crumbs evenly over the fruit before baking 30-35 minutes or until top is browned and fruit is bubbly.
  5. Oatmeal Crumb Topping: In a bowl, combine flour, oats, sugars and salt; mix. Add melted butter and mix with fingers or fork to create a streusel.
  6. Plating Suggestions: Make cobblers in individual casseroles, individual dessert soufflés, hotel pans, custard cups, canning jars, etc.
