Pie Dough:
4 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1 lb cold unsalted butter, cubed
1/2 cup ice water
Filling:
8 cups Lucky Leaf® Premium Clean Label Apple Fruit Filling or Topping
2 cups dried cherries
2 cups toasted chopped walnuts
Topping:
1 egg
2 tbsp coarse sugar
1 tub (1.5 quarts) vanilla ice cream
Note: Alternatively, you can use frozen "ready-made" pie dough. Start by thawing out the pie dough as Step 1 and skip to Step 3 and 4 to make your filling and roll out the dough as per the directions in Step 4.
