Apple Butter Cherry Cobbler Bars

The sweet apple-cherry filling, combined with a buttery oat crust, gives these easy-to-prepare bars real home-style flavor.

Apple Butter Cherry Cobbler Bars


Servings: 36

5 cups (1275g) Lucky Leaf® Premium Cherry Fruit Filling or Topping 

1 cup (272g) Musselman’s® Premium Apple Butter 

1 lb. (453g) unsalted butter, softened

2 cups (372g) granulated sugar

1 cup (156g) light brown sugar

6 large eggs

2 tps. vanilla extract

4 cups (532g) all-purpose flour

2 tps. baking powder

2 tps. salt

6 cups (438g) old-fashioned or quick oats

2 cups (216g) white chocolate chips

nonstick spray


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray half-sheet pan with nonstick spray.
  2. In mixer bowl, cream butter with sugars until light and fluffy, about 4 to 5 minutes, scraping bowl as necessary. On low speed, blend in eggs, one at a time, until incorporated. Add vanilla extract.
  3. In separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder and salt. Add flour mixture to butter mixture and stir until just combined.
  4. Stir in oats until combined. Add in chocolate chips.
  5. Reserve about one-third of the dough mixture and set aside. Press remaining dough in prepared pan in an even layer.
  6. In a medium bowl, combine cherry fruit filling and apple butter. Spread mixture over dough in pan. Drop remaining dough evenly over fruit mixture.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes, until top and edges are golden brown. Let cool completely before cutting into bars, or serve warm.
