Easy Apple Crisp

This all-American favorite couldn't be made more easily than by using Apple Pie Filling as a base and topping with an oatmeal crust before baking.

Easy Apple Crisp


2 qt. (about 64 oz.) Lucky Leaf® Apple Pie Filling**
1 cup dark corn syrup or honey
2/3 cup water, hot

2 1/2 cups quick cooking oats
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
2/3 cup butter, softened
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt


  1. In the bottom of a greased half-size hotel pan, mix apple pie filling, corn syrup and hot water until combined.
  2. In a bowl combine all topping ingredients and mix until well combined and a crumbly consistency. Sprinkle evenly over top of apple filling mixture.
  3. Bake in a preheated 300°F convection or 350°F conventional oven for 40-45 minutes or until mixture is bubbling and browned on top. Remove from heat and cool on wire rack until warm.
  4. Serve warm or at room temperature, topped with frozen yogurt, ice cream or whipped topping, if desired.

    **LUCKY LEAF/MUSSELMAN'S Cherry, Peach or Blueberry or LUCKY LEAF Pineapple Pie Fillings can be substituted for Apple Pie Filling.
