Apple Butter Baked Oatmeal

Boost your breakfast offerings with a spin on classic favorite. Oatmeal is baked with apple butter, cinnamon, maple syrup and almonds for a flavorful and filling morning treat.

Apple Butter Baked Oatmeal


Servings: 3/4 cup, makes 24 servings

8 cups old-fashioned oats
1 Tbsp. baking powder
2 cups slivered toasted almonds (another type of nut can be used or they can be omitted)
2 tsp. Kosher salt
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
3 cups MUSSELMANS® Premium Apple Butter
8 large eggs, beaten
1 qt. low-fat milk
1 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup melted butter
6 cups non-fat vanilla Greek-style yogurt


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (conventional) or 300°F (convection).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, baking powder, almonds and salt. Hold.
  3. In another large bowl, whisk together Musselmans® Apple Butter, eggs, milk, maple syrup and butter until well combined. Add the oat mixture to the apple butter mixture and mix well.
  4. Pour into a greased deep full-sized hotel pan. Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until oatmeal is set and top is golden brown. Remove from heat and cool slightly to serve.
  5. To Serve: Spoon or scoop out 3/4 cup hot baked oatmeal and top with 1/4 cup yogurt.
