The product is made by the alcoholic fermentation and subsequent acetous fermentation of the juice of grapes or wine stock, adjusted with water to the specified strength. Material and workmanship shall be of good quality and the product shall be prepared in accordance with Federal Good Manufacturing Practices under strictly sanitary conditions to minimize the possibility of contamination during product manufacture.
Ingredients: Red Wine Vinegar (reduced with water to 5% acidity), Potassium Metabisulfite (a preservative). The reference amount customarily consumed for vinegar as defined by the Food and Drug Administration is 1 tablespoon (15 mL). A tablespoon of vinegar contains insignificant amounts of all nutrients in the required listing and is not labeled with nutrition facts.
