Sugar Dusted Apple Bundt Cake

A dense, lush pound cake filled with pieces of apple and flavored with cinnamon and orange, this cake will remind your customers of home cooking at its best.


2 bundt cakes cut into 12 slices each
Non-stick cooking spray
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
6 cups all-purpose flour
4 1/4 cups granulated sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 cups vegetable oil
8 large eggs, beaten
2/3 cup orange juice
1 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla extract
5 cups LUCKY LEAF® Premium Apple Fruit Filling 


Preheat oven to 350ºF.
Grease and flour two 10-inch tube pans or bundt cake pans.
In a small bowl, mix together cinnamon and1/4 cup sugar, and sprinkle bottom and sides of each pan.
In a large bowl, combine the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk together the oil, eggs, orange juice and vanilla, add to the dry ingredients; mix well. Fold in Lucky Leaf® Premium Apple Pie Filling and stir to mix. Pour batter into the prepared pans.
Bake cakes for 1 hour or until batter is firm to the touch and cooked through. Let cool 15 minutes before inverting onto a cooling rack to cool completely before slicing. Drizzle with citrus glaze if desired.
Optional: Citrus Glaze: In a medium bowl, beat 2 cups powdered sugar and 2 Tbsp. orange juice for 1 minute or until smooth. Add additional orange juice by the teaspoon if needed for desired consistency before drizzling onto cakes, if desired.
