Cherry Crisp

Fruit crisps are familiar fare at tables around the country and everyone finds them comforting and satisfying. This simple version is filled with cherry filling and topped with an oat-nut-brown sugar topping that makes a perfect compliment to the smooth, sweet filling.

Ingredients

3 1/2 qt. (126 oz.) LUCKY LEAF® Cherry Pie Filling
1 1/2 cups unsalted butter, softened

1 qt. cup quick oats
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups finely chopped pecans
Frozen yogurt or icecream (vanilla, maple, cinnamon, almond, etc.)

Method
Preheat oven to 350°F conventional or 300°F convection.
1. Place pie filling in bottom of full-size steamtable pan (20”x12”x3”). Reserve.
2. In a bowl, combine butter, oatmeal, brown sugar, flour and pecans until crumbly. Sprinkle mixture over top of pie filling in pan.
3. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbling. Remove from heat and cool 15 minutes before serving.
4. To Serve: Serve a 1 cup scoop of crisp accompanied by frozen yogurt or icecream.
