Into a full-size steamtable pan pour butter.
In bowl combine sugar, flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Stir in milk and blend. Pour mixture evenly over melted butter in steamtable pan. Do not stir. Pour Blackberry Pie Filling evenly on top of the flour mixture. Do not stir.
Bake in 325°F oven 50-60 minutes or until mixture is bubbling and crust is formed and browned. Remove from heat and let cool 15 minutes before serving.
Serve 1/2 cup scoop of Cobbler topped with 1/4 cup heated cream or whipped cream, if desired.
