Dessert Pizzas

A sweet base of prepared cookie dough is topped with rich cream cheese icing and cherry pie filling.  This will become a desert favorite.


24 cookie slice servings
4 1/2 lb. prepared, refrigerated sugar cookie dough , softened slightly
2 lb. cream cheese, softened
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 qt.  (72 oz.) LUCKY LEAF Cherry Pie Filling**


Divide dough into 4 even dough circles. Roll or press out each dough circle into an 8-in. even circle (or pizza) on a greased, 12-in. pizza pan or half-sheet pan.
Bake in a 350°F. oven until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool completely before using as directed.
In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread a quarter of mixture evenly over each cooled cookie crust. Top each pizza with 2 cups Cherry Pie Filling. Chill well.
To serve, cut each pizza into 6 equal wedges and serve.
**LUCKY LEAF/MUSSELMAN'S Lemon, Peach or Blueberry or LUCKY LEAF Pineapple Pie Fillings can be substituted for Cherry Pie Filling.
