Cherry Turnovers

The classic flavor of cherries is combined with rich biscuit crust to make this sumptuous dessert.


24 servings
24 large prepared refrigerator biscuits
1 1/2 cups (14 oz.) LUCKY LEAF Cherry Pie Filling**
2 Tbsp. milk
3 Tbsp. butter, melted


Roll each biscuit to about a 5-inch circle on lightly floured pastry cloth or wax paper. Put one rounded tablespoon of Pie Filling on half of each circle.
Wet the edge of each biscuit circle with water or milk. Fold half biscuit over filling. Seal edges together with a fork. Brush top with milk.
Bake in 425°F oven for 10-12 minutes or until baked through. Remove from heat and brush top with butter. Serve warm.
**Note: LUCKY LEAF/MUSSELMAN'S Lemon, Peach or Blueberry or LUCKY LEAF Pineapple or Apricot Pie Fillings can be substituted for Cherry Pie Filling.
