A dessert crisp made easy. This version uses sliced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon, topped with a crunchy oat topping and baked until bubbly. Delicious with ice cream.

2 qt. (about 69 oz.) MUSSELMAN'S Sliced Apples
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
2 1/2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oatmeal
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
1 1/2 cups butter, softened
3 qt. vanilla ice cream or frozen vanilla yogurt
In bottom of full-size steamtable pan place sliced apples with juice and spread into an even layer. Sprinkle top with granulated sugar and 3/4 tsp. cinnamon. Reserve.
In bowl combine brown sugar, oats, flour and salt; mix well. Add in butter and mix until crumbly. Spread evenly over the sliced apples in the steamtable pan.
Bake in 350°F oven for 45-50 minutes or until bubbling and crust is browned. Remove from heat and let stand at least 15 minutes before serving.
Serve warm, 1/2 cup per serving, dolloped with 1/2 cup ice cream or frozen yogurt.
